低班幼兒踏入四歲,能力增長不少。老師透過專題研習、模擬遊戲、參觀活動、科學探索等,擴闊幼兒的生活經驗。此外,幼兒的語文能力持續發展,在良好的聆聽和說話能力基礎上,豐富讀、寫的經驗。

高班幼兒五歲以後,技巧漸趨熟練。因此,學習更著重於發展幼兒的創意思維、探索發現、溝通表達、與人合作、關愛他人等。老師安排多元化活動、提供多樣的材料,增加幼兒的學習經驗,為以後升學作好準備。
